Our most popular option for corporate events is the Blues Trio: KC and the R&B Machine consists of guitar/ lead vocal, keyboard/ bass/ vocal, and drums. Our versatile Blues/ R&B musicians always cater to the dynamics of the event – we typically perform a well rounded balance of fast/ slow contemporary/ classics and usually end with our popular finale, Let The Good Times Roll/Sweet Home Chicago. View our Blues Trio song list here. Our guitarist, KC, is a virtuoso on par with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray and Eric Clapton. KC's unique guitar style is an embodiment of the modern Blues guitar hero, and also pays homage to the the earlier masters, such as B.B. King and Muddy Waters. KC and the R&B Machine is also a high energy visual treat!

Our medium size Chicago R&B Machine is five pieces, and includes female vocal, male vocal/ lead guitar, keyboards/ vocal, bass and drums. The five piece R&B Machine combines a smoking Blues rhythm section with KC and the soulful vocals of Precious Taylor. UpBeat is proud to have Precious Taylor, co-director of the group, with the R&B Machine – she has recently performed in “The Blues Brothers Revival” directed by Dan Akyroid, also The Contours, The Temptations, and her aunt, the legendary KoKo Taylor to name a few.

Our full size Chicago R&B Machine is 10-12 pieces. Soulful vocals, dynamic horns, and a cooking rhythm section. As a group, we strive to create musical drama with our tight arrangements and originals. We put great care in preparing well balanced song medleys – our concerts are rehearsed shows – we enjoy creating a fun, tasteful, party atmosphere – The R&B Machine is known for it's interactive show – so be prepared to sing along with our group, and answer the the call: "Let The Good Times Roll!"
